Everything was ok
Tips about Paris
The hotel is very good situaded and there a good parking very close. I had a lovely time. A pity that there is no possibility to make reservation for Theaters. I had to go to the Fnac which quite far if you arrive late.

The only comment I have would be that the bathroom including tub needs better care. The location was great.
Tips about Paris
The hotel should have a "How to get there" map via subway. It would help to know where to get off etc.

Perfect location, easy access to a wonderful neighborhood, great restaurants, awesome shopping and the metro. The room are very comfortable with modern amenities, although somewhat lacking in charm. I have a friend who stayed in a upper floor who did not have wireless access.

Close to the train stationss - Gare du Nord and l'Est.
The Bathroom had a mild case of mold.

Highly recommend this hotel. We had a room with a terrace, and loved it. Wonderful staff, and don't forget to try the excellent breakfast!
Tips about Paris
Enjoy Paris slowly, don't even try to rush and see everything. There will always be a next visit.

The hotel de l'Université is small, charming and somewhat rustic. The breakfast is wonderful. The staff is so genuinely warm and helpful. I hadn't really used my French since college, but they always seemed to know what I was saying in French.... and if I didn't understand their response, they repeated it in English for me. It made it fun.
Tips about Paris
Walking is the prime activity in Paris. This hotel is well located to see most everything. I walked into about five churches and was thinking I didn't need to go see Notre Dame. I was mistaken. Notre Dame is an amazing church and should be visited during every visit to Paris.

We really appreciated the fact that the hotel had not suffered from modernisation and were pleased to have such a large and comfortable room. I have stayed in several hotels in Rue de l'Universite and this seems to be the only one that has retained its character.
